5 car accident...

Just got BLASTED from behind on the highway....traffic came to a sudden stop, I looked back in the rear view mirror, saw a pickup truck, the distance was good, I relaxed thinking he’s got this, NP...seconds later, felt like slo-mo..BANG, FEEL my neck snap, slam into the car in front of me..

I stayed in the car, called 911..people getting out of their cars, walking around...fuck it I’m staying put until the cops arrive...Cops show, I get out, three hammered vehicles behind me..My truck is toast, just dropped 3 Advil, rough afternoon, careful out there.
 
That sucks, you can be the best driver in the world but it just takes a tard slamming behind you and there's nothing you can do about it.

Pile ups happen because fools are tailgating each other. That's why I keep a huge distance between my car and the one in front of me at high speeds. If they brake abruptly I don't have to slam on my brakes as hard and if the car behind me isn't slowing down quickly enough, I can move up a little bit.

Glad you're injury free.

Someone rear ended us earlier this year. Both turning left but she smacked my right side with her left front ...when she got out of the car she had an unlocked mobile in her hand...I wonder what she was doing that distracted her...
 
Oh, ice everything. Affected areas at least get 20 minutes. You feel cold, tingle, hot, pain, numb. When you get numb, that's when the ice does its work.

Ice now.

That seems more like stupidity than an accident. People don't leave enough space and don't pay attention so they end up crashing. Of course they don't have insurance or enough insurance to cover all of the damage they cause. People complain about warning systems constantly beeping at them because they are following to close and many of them are driving heavy trucks. All cars will soon be manufactured with automatic braking.
