Not super consistent in my training but less seemed to be more this time around. Legs never felt super strong but I was able to snatch more consistently and clean and jerks were good enough. 81kg, Masters Male 53 years old. Total 178kg (snatch 75kg, clean and jerk 103kg.). Went 6 for 6. 68-72-75 (meet PR) and 94-99-103 (meet PR).

Goal was to qualify for masters nationals so a 3kg meet PR was a nice surprise.

Thanks. I would not say I feel like I'm getting stronger as my squat totals are below my best. i back squatted 350lb 2 years ago. 320 probably my best right now. I was also really close to 300lb front squat but now, probably 280 at best. I'm sqautting a bit more right now which will help

Biggest improvement for me is much better consistency, especially snatching. If I can get in the 80's I would be super happy. My goal is to shoot for a 190 total at nationals in April. 80/110. I've hit both of those in the past in training

Keep it up. Gotta keep numbers ahead of the wife.
It's good motivation knowing another 15 years from now, could still be going strong and enjoying it.

Roger that...she trains much more consistently than I do for sure.
