It’s up to Dana not khamzat. It’s also a short notice fight so more at risk, doesn’t mean he wouldn’t fight anyone with a full camp.

To have their name pulled for the next title shot. It's DDP or winner of this fight (if they look good). The only other option is to be 3rd place and "pick what's best for their career" and wait it out. Khamzat is a WW, even a former LW in Burns was able to touch him up pretty bad. Guys like Vettori or Cannonier especially. Whittaker maybe too.
