Big mistake imo. I get that she feels better here, and that's cool and all, but the other girls are just too big and physically imposing for her. Fiorot, in my opinion, was her best stylistic matchup in the top 5 and she couldn't get it done. If she wants a shot at being champ again she needs to go back down. If she stays at 125 she'll be lucky to be in the top 5.

Manon said in an interview that she doesn't think Rose has the physicality to compete at 125 and I tend to agree. I thought this before Rose's fight, but I still thought she could take Manon. I was wrong. I mean, she broke her finger in round 1 and that obviously had a lot to do with the loss, but the way she was struggling with Manon before that told me all I need to know.

Just book her VS Andrade again lol
Andrade is too far down the ladder at this point to deserve a fight with Namajunas. She's on a three fight losing streak and she got owned in every single one.

We should send a well fed Carla after her again, 3rd time's the charm, right? Right?
Keep Carla and Rose far far away from eachother. I don't care who wins I never want to see them in the same room again after that.

If she makes the effort in S&C to grow into a proper flyweight in lieu of just not cutting weight, she’s definitely skilled enough to be a contender… The variables are the same as WSW, the issues have always been where is she at emotionally, also going into fights with questionable game plans.

Until recently she's always been able to push her emotions to the side and go out there and kick butt. I'm not convinced her emotions had anything to do with her losing the belt or losing against Manon. One was a terrible gameplan that she just stuck to, and the other was her getting outmuscled. Manon's skills are no joke, but if she was the same size as Rose I think she loses that fight most of the time.

I dunno, by emotionally I’m talking about being able to see that Pat isn’t quite the coach/cornerman that she needs to put blind faith in, not saying she’s the headcase that Sherdog thinks she is. Also, the fact that she was able to make the Manon fight semi-competitive regardless of being injured says more positive about Roses abilities than it does about Manon who struggled with a wounded animal.

I'd probably put actual money on Manon being champ at 125 if she gets her shot. She's pretty big for the weight class and while not perfect, is very effective. Rose likely has no motivation for the SW title for the 3rd time against someone she beat twice already. The only way Rose gets a rematch with Magnon is if she grew into FLW better. She should get a lower level opponent next and build confidence at this weight class.

I agree with TS, Rose is to small to compete with the top of 125. All of these girls beat Rose:

If Manon fought Alexa right now I think she'd beat her but I dunno about Blanchfield

Then she has no intention of winning another fight.

Rose is 0-2 including one of the worst performances in UFC history. I'd say they are in a similar spot.

I agree. Give her time to put on proper weight/muscle as opposed to being a 115ers who just didn't cut much weight. She's done enough at 115 and wants to try something else. Give it a little time.

Plus Manon is a tough fight. Maybe toughest in the division.
