Here is the difference that’s a major one between why Khabib is over Jones...

When the fight between Khabib and Tony fell through, Khabib agreed to fight anyone who could make weight at 155 and the UFC went through 6 opponents until they found him the so called real state agent Al. Meanwhile, Jon Jones the goat refused to fight Shale a natural MW after his fight against Dan fell through, just let that sink in! That’s not goat actions. What do you think and be completely fair?

So Khabib was open to fighting anyone in his division so that makes him more accomplished then Jon Jones?

I’m not sure I’m following the logic here.

Rubbish thread.

JBJ is a shit person, but his reign of terror (in his prime) was absolutely absurd.
Khabib has 3 (three) good wins and retired in his prime.

There are a handful of people (excluding JBJ) that are more deserving of the GOAT title that Khabib.
You can't defend your title 3 times and be the GOAT lol. Not when the rest of your wins are cans.

Sorry.

One big fact that you're omitting is that Khabib did not have a belt when he took that risk. It was his first time fighting for a belt in the UFC and he was willing to fight anyone to get it. Jones was already the champ and didn't need to take a short notice opponent. He had the leverage to wait until he could train for his opponent because he was the champ.

Shit logic

Khabib almost died making weight a few times while Jon makes LHW with ease. Probably one of the easiest cuts of all champions

Jon Jones only faced 2 people his height.

Alexander Gustaffson and Dominic Reyes.

Very close decisions/arguable losses to both.

Jon Jones has been a bully his entire life, facing tiny opponents (4-7" shorter than he), 90% of which have faced him after their prime years.

He beat Daniel Cormier twice — who was a midget overweight by about 60 pounds.

If he ever actually faces a heavyweight, the truth will be made known.

Which is why he hasn't faced a heavyweight.

Khabib has 13 fights in the UFC, only 3 defenses and retired before he could be in the high risk little reward situation long term, dominant champs find themselves in.

Silva lost to unknown Weidman. Silva was a MMA god and a win over Weidman wouldn't really have boosted his career.

GSP lost to unknown Matt Serra is a fight everyone thought was going to be a joke.

Jon fought anyone and everyone they put in front of him including undeserving fighters TRT Vitor, Chael, Santos, Anthony Smith, fuck Reyes got a 205 title shot over beating Weidman on a losing streak in his first 205 fight in the UFC.

Every Khabib fight was against high profile opponents. I wanted to see Khabib fight some hungry, starving savage that everyone expects to lose. That's where the test is. But he retired first.

That's when you know your dominant. When they run out of quality opponents and have to give every Tom, Dick and Harry a fight because you beat everyone else.

Khabib has almost died making weight and has more fights at 170 than he does at 155.

Whose the bully now?

Jones was probably more well-rounded, but Khabib was more dominant, retired undefeated, and had no USADA issues. I pick Khabib.
Nope, Jones was more dominant if you only take into account his title run and the next 6 title defenses, until he found a challenge in prime Gustafsson. Jones went 6-0 in title fights with 5 brutal finishes.

Khabib retired after his 3rd title defense. He's a legend obviously, but there are levels to it.
