Andrea Lee has led an inconsistent career so far, frequently losing fights she was supposed to win. But in her last outing, she put on the most impressive performance of her life. She decimated Calvillo from start to finish, and even though she doesn't carry much power, Calvillo was forced to retire on the stool due to the beating and a broken orbital. Never have we seen Andrea be so tenacious and aggressive.

This may be too early to say, but I think she's evolved. She's getting up there in age, but I think she's finally put it all together. She looked different. Before I would've picked Chook to decision her rather easily, but not anymore. She's facing Viviane Araujo in May and that worries me a bit, because Viviane carries power, but if she goes in there and performs like she did against Calvillo, I expect domination, possibly a TKO.

Thoughts?

She's okay, she might get lucky with Andrade moving back down and Chook being out of contract and get a title shot if she beats Vivi. I think the likes of Fiorot and Blanchfield especially will overtake her though. Probably be behind the likes of Tereza Bleda and Dakota Ditcheva in a couple of years too.

I think she’s clearly working on her game, but no hope of championship level imo.

Not with Valentina around obviously lol.

Even with all these hot new prospects in 125 I don't think any pose a significant threat to her.

I actually think she has a decent chance of beating Andrade. That's if she remains consistent.

I don't see how she beats Andrade, I can't see how outwrestling her so she'd have to stand and bang and Andrade is a lot more powerful than her.

Wow really? She couldn’t even get past Murphy, so hard to see her at the top of the division for me. I think Fiorot boxes her ears off, and I’m not sure how she’d do against Grasso or O’Neill either.

Wait are you talking about Valentina? I'm talking about Valentina. They aren't beating Valentina.

But yes I think Andrea Lee has improved enough to stick around the top 5 or so. Assuming she can replicate that level of performance.

Title shot then gatekeeper until she starts to decline physically... Nothing to crazy

The real question should be how far does ERIN BLACHFIELD go? Because I think her grappling may be enough to overwhelm Valentina

Ohhh I thought you were saying the new prospects don’t pose a threat to Lee. My bad, I misunderstood. Yeah, I agree Valentina beats them all. Will be interesting to see if Moroz or Agapova can put a win streak together.

I'm an Erin Blanchfield stan but I don't think she's ready for Valentina and she'll have to get much better on the feet to beat her.

The one person I think who could potentially beat Valentina is a healthy Tatiana Suarez, but even then I'm not overly confident.

Moroz? I'm not as interested in her.

Much more so Agapova, Blanchfield, O Neil, and Fiorot.

Shit the 125 division is suddenly looking pretty damn good.

I’m much more interested in Agapova than Moroz. I just meant it will be interesting to see if either one can pull it all together and get a good win streak going is all.

I still dislike her (not exactly sure why - her face annoys me tho). That said she has improved more than I gave her credit for. I was quite impressed last scrap and have flipped my perceptions of her (fight wise).

She won't get a Title but I'll sure as hell enjoy the work.

I think Agapova already has it together. She looks terrifying. Real killer instincts. The way she just jumped on that choke after dropping her last opponent (Her name has slipped my mind) was crazy to see. She's a savage. I was worried after that humiliating Dobson lost, but it's clear that just made her better and perhaps provoked an attitude change.

Blanchfields very impressive but the metaphorical leap of her overwhelming Valentina is a leap too far.

Suarez would get lit up on the feet and subbed on the ground against Val. Suarez could be 115 champ though if she can still cut the weight.
