There were a few (since-mod deleted) threads theorizing what Ngannou could do. I don't recall anyone making the claim that Francis without a doubt was going to throw the fight in order to get out of his clause, but a bunch of "what if...", and "here's what Ngannou can do to stick it to the UFC" type of thoughts.
