Trying to visualize this fight but cant really figure out who I would favor here.

Yan is a slow starter and would turn up the heat later on, but Cejudo is grinding cardio machine and I dont see him losing the battle of wills.
Maybe Yan starts picking up on some tendencies and starts consistently finding openings in the later rounds, but Cejudo has a chin on him and it wouldnt surprise me if he times some good openings himself.
Also no clue what effect Cejudos wrestling could have in this fight, I dont see him consistently getting Yan down or holding him down or against the cage.

If I had to pick I’d say that Yan wins a hard-fought decision that he clearly took in the later rounds by landing the cleaner and bigger shots.

Interesting matchup, in theory
Im not sure how it would go. Id favor none.
One of the few fights id stand with 50/50, due to how different these guys fight
It is possible that if this fight happens one can impose his game and make it look easy tho.

cejudo wins by midget rage, yan looks proportional.

Cejudo has never wanted to fight Yan. To people thinking Cejudo would just wrestle Yan... Where was that wrestling against Moraes when he was getting lit up for two rounds? Didn't even attempt to take Cruz down. Yan easily keeps that fight on the feet and boxes the shit out of Cejudo. I'd like to see it just to shut up delusional Cejudo fans.

Cejudo keeps Yan on the back foot shelled up in high guard. Chetr never gets any offensive rhythm the whole fight. Henry 50-44

He took Cruz down of a knee to the body and attempted 5 takedowns overall.
I agree with you though, Petr would batter him.

This is actually one of the best fights that could theoretically be made in MMA atm. Both are well rounded, although I'd give Cejudo the clear grappling edge and Yan the clear striking edge.

Cejudo is so overrated it's crazy. Yan would obliterate him
Agree. He "won" a VERY close decision vs Mouse, and by close I though MM won fairly obviously. Then, he beats TJ, which I was actually pulling for CCC because I can't stand TJ, but then the stoppage vs Cruz was bad. Not saying Cruz would've won, but CCC just isn't dominant.

Cejudo would give him a tough fight with his speed, particularly early on as Yan tends to start slow. And Cejudo is not that easy to hit. I see the fight going to a decision, but Yan winnning. I think Yan's strikes would have more effect as the fight goes on and do more damage. And I think Yan would control the octagon much better.

Slightly favour Yan. I think Cejudo would start strong and start with the karate style, in and out movement and may win the first two rounds against Yan. I think Cejudo also has the potential to switch the style up to a more boxer wrestler type style where he could try and grind Yan out. The thing about Yan is, people underestimate that dudes heart. His lead leg was done against Aldo when they fought to the point where he fought a majority of that fight in his less comfortable southpaw stance, and yet he managed to withstand Aldo and break him. Not saying Cejudo would break, but given Yans fight IQ, his ability to make technical reads, and the fact that he probably is the only BW with the same championship will as Cejudo, and I see him edging a close 48-47 winning the last 3 rounds.
