Was Aldo's 13 second KO the worst mental lapse ever by a GOAT level fighter in their prime?

Aldo was a super patient point fighter during his championship run in the ufc. Then he fights Conor and does his best cm punk impression by running across the cage and loading up a big hay maker only to get walloped.

Has there been a goat level fighter that had such a horrendous mental lapse like that in their prime?

Fedor made a big mistake against Werdum, you could argue this.

And Android Silva...

This probably was the worst..disrespectful af and getting ktfo like that ending his run.

Funnily enough, Rockhold was in his prime but got too cocky and got ktfo by Bisping.

And Weidman threw worst heel kick attempt of all time and get his face pounded by Rockhold.

You could argue Poirier had a huge mental lapse in his absolute prime against Oliveira by doing that incredulous front roll to full guard.

And you could also say Werdum went full ret- against Stipe in his prime too.

To this day, I still don't know why Poirier did that front roll. One of us sherbro is probably right in saying that Poirier probably panicked, but I guess we'd never know for sure. That's probably what happened, he panicked..

MMA is probably the only sport where the mistakes and quitting is so evident in losses. I guess perhaps in combat sports in general, but I'm not hardcore boxing or kickboxing fan.

Mistakes are just as obvious in team sports if you understand them but they aren't as affecting as it's only a game. Boxing and MMA? Anything but.

Maybe evident wasn't the best word, hm I can't find the right word for it, I suppose if it's the end of the game, the mistakes could be magnified, but quitting isn't as obvious in team sports.
