As of now, Luque is ahead of Khamzat in the line for the title, but still behind leon and vulnerable to jorge/colby cutting the line. By beating Khamzat, he will be seen as a legitimate contender especially with his exciting fights becoming a potential new face of the division.

If Khamzat wins, he jump's luque's place in line to arguably even surpass Leon as the presumed title shot holder.
