There ARE bad matchups for Conor, Dustin sure, Gaethje also. Oliveira however, isn't one of them. It took Khabib 4 rounds of insane pressure to get Conor out of there and only Khabib's durability saw him absorb shots in that time that would have asked serious questions of Oliveira's suspect chin.

Bottom line is Charles is too easy to hit and if Dustin had Conor's finishing skills it could have been first rd KO. People claiming Conor has absolutely no shot in this fight are insane. Out of the top 10 LW's Charles is literally the best matchup Conor could hope for.

I actually agree.

And knowing Dana, if Oliveira is in trouble like he was in round 1 vs Chandler, the ref will probably stop it right away making Conor the NEW !!!

1 relevant win, (a washed 170 cowboy) in 6 years -- don't even talk about him at 155 ass clown. lol.

This would be a money grab, nothing earned, of course I'd watch bla bla bla, but on terms of merit -- load of horse shit. Conor should have defended either belt and not ventured off if he wanted to be relevant. He took the money and fame, no hate against that, but him vs any champ at this point should take 2-3 wins in their division or yer shittin on everyone who stuck around the last 6 years.

Conor won two UFC titles and never defended either.

He doesn't deserve another shot for that reason, not to mention losing his last two fights to Dustin.

Conor spent over 4 minutes on the ground (2 minutes being held in a seated position followed by 2 minutes on his back) in Round 1. Given that Oliveira has much much better submissions than Khabib, Conor wouldn't be able to survive that long on the ground with him.

Conor isn't the same anymore. The aura is gone, fighters know how beatable he is. Floyd, Khabib, and Doostin have all taken good pieces of him.

Not to mention, 1 round of cardio is hard to favor against an elite fighter.

Jesus Christ please don't feed this narrative, Gaethje and the winner of Islam/Dariush are the rightful contenders

Funny how people still say Oliveira has a suspect chin when he took Chandlers and Poirers best shots and didn't get knocked out he deserves a bit more credit for having a chin.

This fight is not happening anytime soon. So, I just refuse to waste any time talking about it. Now, if we want to talk about Justin.. You know, the next guy in line. I’m down for that. Conor won’t even fight in the next 6 months. And after Justin, the winner fights Dariush/Islam. And that’s about a year away.

Good luck to all of them. May the best fighters win.

No clue what Connor is doing not finishing the Nate trilogy. It's the most hype+best shot of winning he has, and they'd probably give him a title shot which I disagree with but probably would. 2 fights left, Nate then title. Seems like the smart business move but it's almost like he has no interest.

Conor could win the fight. Charles is playing with fire and he’s gonna get knocked out, just a matter of when. Conor is a big hitter and has great timing so he could be the guy. He could also get subbed instantly. Of course, winning a title is usually about winning many fights not just one.

I don't think Charles has a weak chin, that said, I think Conor has a better chance of beating Charles than beating Poirier, which isn't to say Conor is gonna win necessarily.
