I bet she's like, "what about me?" <mma1>

it doesn't matter how much she wins or how dominant she is because as long as Amanda keeps winning, Val will never be declared the GOAT by the most influential MMA promotion in the world, thus shaping how the fans will think when comparing the two<Y2JSmirk>

Val needs the Nunes fight a lot more than the other way around

Most definitely...

...and then she fuxx some small indigenous peruvian fella to feel better afterwards, and dances.

She's a better fighter than Nunes, that's pretty obvious.
However, I do think she wants to be widely considered the best and that's why she said she would accept the third fight with Amanda even though it is pointless.

If you followed her career at all you know the answer is yes.

As bad as some of Joanna's salty behaviour gets called out , which people don't realize is because she is hyper competitive, Valentina is 10x worse. Look at how salty she was when she lost to Nunes the 2nd time. Didn't take any responsibility whatsoever either. Her sycophantic fans egging on the behaviour just makes it so much worse.

Then apparently there was the time when she got DQed when the judges finally got sick of her using illegal moves in MT for years and forced her to move up a weight class. She refused to leave the ring and was there for a very long time arguing. That was how Joanna won her titles in her own weight class otherwise she never would have won them. This is supposedly detailed in Joanna's first biography which should come out in English eventually. We might get her 2nd one before the 1st because they fucked up something about it. Hopefully we get the details then as I might be wrong about some of this as it's based on an older interview with Joanna.

135+145 are bad and stale divisions but combined they are better than 125
I tend to agree -- 125 is too young at this point. Through no fault of her own, Shevchenko hasn't had to endure the tests that Nunes has (not that 135 is super stacked either).

This likely isn't a very popular take as Valentina tends to get praised everywhere and marketed as a stone cold killer (fair play, she is very dominant), but I agree 100%. You wanna make the argument that she beat Nunes? I disagree big time, but okay... At least acknowledge that she did incredibly minimal tangible offense in her counterstrike game plan and certainly wasn't the aggressor. Nunes didn't land much clean offense either, but she did consistently touch her (albeit not with much damage). Nunes was the one that tried to turn it into a fight in my opinion. I have no connection with Shevchenko -- I'm certainly a HUGE fan of watching her fight -- very impressive. But she does seem to get more of a pass than most others with how she conducts herself in my opinion, not that I personally have an issue with it. I'd love to see her rematch Nunes, but yeah I would say she seems saltier than a potato chip.

UFCs claim don’t matter much in the long term

doesn't seem very obvious from the 0-2 record against nunes

Honestly size difference is why she lost

p4p I do believe Valentina is better but at the end of the day it is like HW, the HWs are the premier of the organization and can beat everyone else that is why they are called the baddest man on planet if they are the champion

I've long held the belief that close rounds absolutely should go the way of the champion. That's why I wasn't mad when GSP beat Hendricks, or Jones beat Reyes and Santos.

In Nunes/Shevchenko 2, Valentina just didn't do enough. "Her nose is rose" ... Shut up Valentina, you can't take a girl's belt like that.

Nunes beat her out of the division.
