Jose Aldo offered to replace Ferguson for Khabib fight.

It has been publicly said by Aldo recently on an interview, how the fight would had went out ? i must admit that Aldo Takedown defense if very underrated.

Aldo's TDD is indeed very good but I doubt it would have held up against Khabib for very long. Khabib is not only better a wrestler than anyone Aldo has fought, but much bigger too. He's fairly big for a LW while Aldo is essentially a ballooned up BW.

Cardio and size difference would had played a huge part in it, i got Khabib in the later rounds, Aldo is clearly smaller but he is also killing himself to make 135.

When was that? The only time I remember where this was actually discussed was before 209 when Tony refused to sign the contract unless he gets paid more money. Khabib acknowledged Aldo wanted the fight but said he wanted Ferguson since it made more sense (which it 100% did, considering Max was IC at the time also).
