If Conor McGregor truly stepped into the cage at UFC 264 with pre-existing stress fractures in his left leg, the Nevada Athletic Commission wasn’t aware of it.

“If we ever knowingly had information a fighter wasn’t fit to fight, we wouldn’t let them compete,” NAC executive director Bob Bennett told the Review-Journal on Friday.

“It would go to a doctor and a doctor would make that decision as the expert.”

Interesting discussion from McCarthy about Conor's statements.
Also discussing titanium leg, apperantly gonna hurt more when kicking.

Conor chose to fight despite having pre existing fracture the guy is a freaking savage. No wonder he always makes fun of pull-out merchants.

Umm yeah if an athletic commission has information about a serious injury then they won't let the fighter compete. How is this any news?

If he had an injury and doctors knew about it, Aren't they obligated to report this to comission?

I have no idea if Conor is telling the truth or not, but I’m not getting why people are trying to make a big deal about this. 99% of fighters probably go into a fight with injuries.

Conor didn't tell as to not risk the 23 million dollar+ payday and to give his fans a show on one leg.

Didn't he say the dcotors knew about it and they discussed pulling out?
He claims he told several people, including UFC doctors.

Not "people making", Conor is making big deal and his main excuse.

I'm just trolling a bit and rubbing some salt in the wounds :D

Mate, we're talking about the same commissions that let Bisping fight with one eye.

They don't give a fuck if it makes them money.
