So why do these fighters do it? Obviously TJ thought he wouldnt be caught, but think of all the money hes losing in his prime. Even if he loses a fight or 2, hes still getting big paydays

As for Henry and Jones, they are sitting out as bargaining chips, but they are getting older each day and are missing out on some of the biggest pay days of their careers, especially Henry who wasnt a champ that long and probably didint get many huge paydays before he beat TJ

Cejudo probably stands to make more money outside of MMA by leaving as a double champ.
Dillashaw and Jones' success are tied directly to PEDs, it's what got them in a position to make millions in the first place, and they continued using because without it they'd fall off.

Cejudo is more than a Double-Champ — so I get why he hopped off the train, for now or forever — with his list of accomplishments and overall legacy.

Jones escaped a high risk savage beating, and can safely wait out the Francis-Lewis-Gane Champ tournament. Maybe poach a HW crown in the future, inspired by GSP.

TJ is committed to his redemption fight path, so he’s moving forward with making his way back into big money.

Henry is the most unfortunate. Retiring seems like a miscalculation on his part. Sure, he's hanging out with Saul and Mike now, but he could've do all the things that he's been doing lately even when he was still active.

He's competed in combat sports since he was a kid. He's likely burned out enough he needs a massive payday to make it worth it. Cejudo has always struggled with discipline, so if he's Hao retiring, more power to him.

Henry made a choice - and he is not much of a draw anyway so more like he's missing out on a few hundred thousand dollars while his body is being put through stress and wear and tear that doesn't translate to how much he is being compensated.

Jon - if he wants he can. Yeah he wants to be paid but he's also done nothing at HW and is a proven PED abuser.

TJ? The guy is a flat out cheater and it's his fault for sitting on the sidelines for 2yrs - he should count himself lucky as other sports ban guys for life for using EPO and all they're doing is riding a bike.
