Honestly a real piece of shit move. To advocate for the UFC fully knowing they do NOT pay their fighters enough is ridiculous.

Fighters receive only a small percentage of the total. It’s ridiculous and holding the sport back.

I generally don’t think fighter pay is as grim as some people maid it out to be but take anything Chael says with a grain of salt. He’s been caught lying before and will say anything for attention. He plays a character just like Colby.

He talks as if his audience is strictly casuals who have no idea what's going on and he's teaching them. That's despite the reality of his audience being almost exclusively hardcore fans. He exaggerates everything to simplify things as much as possible.

There was a video recently in which he said there's only been 4 successful strikers in MMA history - Anderson, Maurice Smith, Holly Holm and Israel. No Cro Cop, Overeem, Wonderboy, Machida, etc.
