Why is the UFC’s production so bad compared to other organizations?

Saw some troll post about how Pride was overrated and it got me thinking... Why is the UFC’s production so much worse than Pride?? 17 years later and we don’t have anything even close. This video was posted in that thread but shows the difference

Now we pay $70 dollars for 3 hours of them showing drone shots of Vegas and a “sneak preview” of the latest C level film. Why do you think we ended up with the current production in the UFC?

I'm a sucker for the theatrics, but there isn't anything wrong with focusing on the fights alone.

Do you basically mean why don't they introduce the fighters before the cards so they have to get to the arena miles before they need to and hang around backstage for ages and why don't they ask fighters to do awkward dances on the way to the cage on a ramp?

Pride was flashier, but the UFC is more professional. Bellator is sort of a nice blend of the two IMO.

No just more production than they have now.

I honestly prefer Bellators style more than the current UFC’s.

UFC is doing ok, but KSW has been doing the best job in recent years, IMO. An absolute joy to watch their events. Depends on one's taste probably, the only thing I really don't like are those constant twitter pop-ups during UFC events. As long as fights are good, I'm ok with anything.

What do you want though. Pyrotechnics? Dancing?
More introductions to fighters (especially newer fighters no one has heard of) custom walkouts and gear to give more personality to each fighter (UFC and Reebok really fucked that up) etc

Forgot about KSW’s production but yes they are a lot better. The twitter pop ups are absolutely atrocious.

Production is fine. Your butt was just too hurt by the thought of people bashing Pride, which was known for fixing fights.

It's okay except for when they have them awkwardly walking down stairs and then stopping to do some shadowboxing while the ring girls kind of casually wait for them to hurry the fuck up.
