As great as Weili is, I honestly don't see any clear paths to victory. Valentina is the most well rounded, skilled woman in the sport, and she's bigger than Weili.

Does anyone actually think Weili wins this?

I actually think she's have a better chance against Shevchenko then rose , shes got power, fast hands and great tkd it'd actually be a tough out for Shevchenko in the end even if i think she'd come out on top she looked beatable in her last fight although Weili more so obviously . Gonna add in a little praise for Weili too i love the way she fights and her humble persona she'll probably lose the belt soon but im a huge fan .

I would have said no before seeing a pretty meat and potatoes Maia give Shevchenko more trouble than wed expect.

Still would favor Shevchenko on experience and size but Zhang is game as fuck and would probably be Shevs toughest fight at 125 so far.

Anything can happen in a fight

I think the fight will be very competitive. I think Weili’s power and relentless pressure will be give Val trouble.

But ultimately I think Val wins this 6/10.

I agree but think Shev wins it 9 / 10. Shev is considerably bigger, remember she lost a razor thin split decision to the woman's GOAT Nunes. Also, Shev gave JJ a beating, Weili won a controversial split decision.

No, she's not. She is that good.

Against the likes of Maia, Eye and Carmouche etc yeah, you put Zhang against all Valentinas opponents and I'm pretty sure she'd beat them too.

The common opponent they had in JJ, Zhang did far more damage in 5 rounds than Valentina did over 2 sports.

Obviously I'm more a fan of Zhang so take my opinion with that in mind. But Valentina lost her title shot at 135 then ducked to a smaller less stacked division. She's also ducking Nunes like the plague currently.

Shevchenko is criminally overrated on here. Zhang could definitely take her, she's faster and hits hard, has a legit groundgame too. Size is against her though.
I mean there is little, if anything, she isn't capable of in this sport. She is immensely skilled and well rounded fighter and her career shows that well. How overrated can she really be?

She is an incredible fighter, I don't deny that. Definitely one of the most well rounded fighters to ever exist, but people claiming she'll run over Zhang and her only challenge is Nunes "who she beat last time" is a bit crazy.

Zhang is tough as fuck and hits really hard, especially for a 115 fighter. Trains like an absolute beast, extremely well rounded too. It'd be helluva fight, 50/50 to me.

Speaking as a huge Zhang Weili fan who has been on her hypetrain since she murdered Jessica Aguilar, that is a tough fight for her. But if Jennifer Maia could win a round, maybe Zhang could have the fight of her life and outwork Shevchenko.
