Is Colby never going to be a champion because of his attitude?

Heel = in professional wrestling, the bad guy.

Colby plays the heel in promotional materials. However, he seems to be a heel in real life too. Jon Jones was his roommate in college; Jon Jones hates him, more than seemingly anyone. He was friends with Masvidal; now Masvidal hates him as the scum of the Earth, and he got kicked out of American Top Team.

There's a common theme: he brings athletic potential to a place, places accept him based on that, then he gets kicked out. Kicked out before he can achieve his athletic potential.

When I watch Colby, I get the same "it" feeling I got with Jon Jones. Khabib. GSP even. The same feeling. He just seems to be missing the next step though. That final thing he needs to learn, that "secret knowledge", he burns bridges before he obtains it.

I sure hope he never becomes champion. Even if it’s just an act he comes across as a complete shit stain, it’s astonishing to me that he has any fans.

he won't be a champion because usman and burns are better than him.

He’s never going to be champ because he isn’t good enough. Burns and Usman beat his ass. Ponz and Wonderboy are rough matchups for his aswell. Though if cuts to 155 he could dominate
Oh shut the hell up.

"Beat his ass"

The Usman fight was neck and neck before the finish. Fair play to Usman, he got the job done. but dont act like it was a blowout. the rematch would be damn near 50/50 to anyone unbiased.

Burns? Burns who? Hes never lost to someone named Burns....you must be confusing Gilbert Burns with Wallry Alves, who he would likely destroy today.

Plenty of assholes have won the belt. If Colby never becomes champ it will either be down to injury, age or more likely not being good enough to dethrone the current or any potential future champs.

Did you miss the part where Usman was winning on the scorecards and would have won a decision regardless?
It was technically even going in to the fifth if I’m correct ( 3 rds - 1 rds to usman / 2-2 / 3-1 to Colby) however as soon as Colby was dropped the fight was over and Colby only took rounds on volume while usman was hurting him.

Losing on the scorecards is not "neck and neck. Plus he got his little cunt mouth broken...

Nah, Usman was winning that fight before he finished Colby. Colby rallied well but he was not on his way to winning a decision or a draw if that’s what you’re implying.

Usman didn’t use his greatest skill in wrestling, RDA and Woodley took Colby down, Usman could and likely would in a rematch, plus they’re very simmilar fighters, Usman is a bigger more powerful version. Colby does not win a rematch
you should be sure to get in touch with Usman and let him know to wrestlefuck Colby in the rematch, since its so simple.....crazy he didnt think of that.

I think if Colby developed some kind of power strike that would help him out more than anything else. If he had a reliable power cross/overhand right or a strong body or head kick it would make opponents respect him more.

Broken jaw into a TKO seems like an ass beating to me, regardless of what happened before that.

Well yea he wasn’t on his way because he was losing the 5th before getting dropped, got hurt to the body and rocked many times. Colby hypothetically could have won it if he took the 5th by split decision but that didnt happen and wasn’t very likely as usman was clearly okay and Colby got punched so hard he thought he was eyepoked. The fight was close but the victory was inevitable and clear.
