Travis Fulton had a 40 fight win streak from 2005-2007, and another 30 fight win streak from 2008-2010. How come he was never called up? I faintly remember Dana saying back then he wanted more fights and more cards so the UFC to grow. But he overlooked this guy?

Hahahahhahaha.

C'mon now.

Look at those opponents on his win streak.

I love Fulton and he is savvy but when you fight that often, you are literally fighting every beer stool brawler around.

Lol he used to fight beef plant workers fresh off a shift .. he was never serious about fighting at a high level especially after his last run in ProElite. That was pretty much it for him after Arlovski killed him.

Look at his career. Literally every single time he fought a moderately high level fighter, he lost. He got wrecked whenever he fought a UFC caliber fighter (Arlovski, Monson, Rothwell, Ricco Rodriguez, Forrest, Evan Tanner, Severn). The dude is a legend IMO based solely on his volume of fights, but you're kidding yourself if you think he was ever a UFC caliber fighter.

Travis Fulton lost to just about every notable fighter he ever fought. The closest he came was maybe winning a really boring decision over Arlovski, before Andrei headkicked Fulton into another dimension.

That dude love him or hate him(or just dont care) is a tough sob. Been in some street brawls/melees in my younger days but i was always nervous and scared....Cant imagine fighting a pro fighter at all in the street but imagine fighting a dude on street like him who is so relaxed about a fight, it may as well be walk in the park? Scary individuals out there.

Get the chalk!

I believe around that time Dana mentioned giving him a shot before a fight with a name opponent and he lost

I agree with you Travis was a weekend warrior but don't get me wrong he was actually very talented very tough very good amateur wrestling but he was never trying to become UFC champion.

Although I will say this I think you need to go back and watch that fight it was one of the few fights he actually trained like a professional for.

And he was doing very well until the KO.

Contrary to popular belief he actually did fight some very good talent .Whenever the opportunity came about.
