The tough thing about Lauren Murphy's flyweight run is that, even though she's 5-1 over as "solid" (or however solid fringe fighters can be in that division) competition, her victories over Honchak and Andrea Lee were complete gifts. She won both of those fights but arguably didn't win a single round against either

I’m not even trying to be a dick... her name sounds familiar, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen her fight...and if I did, like you said, I have no recollection of it.

I must admit that, as much as I enjoy WMMA, I had to look up her record to have any idea whether she has been doing well lately or not. She's not been the sort of fighter who has made me pay attention to her, despite her win streak and finishes. She just seems very forgettable as a fighter.

Lauren has improved a ton in every facet i the recent years, and while not a big name, she doesn't deserve the hate she is getting in this thread. i do think she should be in line for a title shot, if maia deserved it, so does she.
