Deiveson Figueiredo most exciting small fighter ever

He’s humble and a very nice guy, but he said he’s going to destroy anyone who tries to take his belt away.

That’s the kind of mentality every Champ should have: the dude legit beats guys down like they’re trying to steal from him

It’s been a brilliant run but you can’t put him on DJ’s level yet.
Mighty Mouse brought his own kind of excitement which is being set aside after only just over a couple years away from the UFC.

Johnson’s division was far stronger at the time he dominated too.

DJ is not very exciting at all.. Sooo NO!

>DJ’s Division was stronger

What you taking about m8? He was fighting guys like Tim Elliot, Chris Cariosso, Ray Borg, John Moraga, etc in TITLE FIGHTS... embarrassing.

He went to the minor leagues on an L to Cejudo when the division was finally gaining steam.

You can admire his longevity, but Mighty Mouse strength of schedule was a joke. And his inability to finish fights was also a knock. People would leave fights he would main event lol:

MM has some the most well rounded skills in MMA. But, he was a high volume fighter and was in a lot of fights the fans did not like. Even when he got a finish, it was unusually a submittal late in the fight. He really had no power, just sick skills. Fig's power is shocking for his weight, he flat out crushes his opponents.

Imagine if DJ was still champ and beats Fig and relegates him to challenger status. I don't miss him.

Cariaso had to be the worst challenger for a belt in recent memory.
