UFC Fight Island revealed to be in Abu Dhabi

Makwan told the Finnish press it's probably in States. He most likely has no idea though.
 
Tapology also says it would be in Abu Dhabi
 
Sheikh Tahnoon no longer has any ownership in the UFC.

What's the deal with Abu Dhabi and hosting UFC cards recently?
 
Makes a lot of sense. There's a bunch of private islands over there and sheiks love hosting MMA and boxing

Less time for certain politicians to try to shut it down, and use the media to trash it for hosting events during a pandemic. Besides that, just easier to keep it secret while its still getting built, less attention is better when something is not ready to be shown yet.

it's opening up tho, at least in Dubai every week they're opening more and more flights inbound and outbound.
Still the situation is not as good as let say Germany or NZ, but pubs restaurants cinemas and other places are already open with 30%-50% capacity.
