I'd reckon it shook him up a little. You could see his head noticably shift from the impact against his leg so brain could have slapped around a little. It's probably why he was stagnant in the clinch while eating shoulders. Probably figured he'd just ride it out for a second then next thing he knew the bridge of his nose was mangled cause he wasn't moving at all and conor got to line a few shoulder shots up.

It wasn't intentional, if you see his right leg you can notice that he was starting to spraw and lifted his left leg to take his feet out of the ground so he could spraw them backwards.
