forget that he used his foot in the open workouts
The First Press Conference in New York when he talked all this shit was on Sep 20, 2018
that was 2 weeks before the fight.the last press conference in vegas, megan olivi interview, other interviews and the weigh ins,he was so confident he was gonna knock out Khabib in the first round

he was so fake.

Yeah it's a pretty weak excuse.
Has anyone asked his team, Owen or John about it?
Sounds like BS.

Also, he wasnt confident. I could tell during the face-off and during his entrance.
My dumbass still thought he would KO him in two :/

Damage control, that said there's not a single fighter that goes into a bout injury free. It's highly possible he had some sort of foot injury in camp. It's even more likely that he fought through the pain and made his way to the cage.

We're talking about professionals in the hurt business, not sherdoggers who call into work and have their mommy feed them chicken noodle soup any time they get the sniffles. Never been a fan of Mcg but he's never pulled out of a fight that I can recall.

That said, theoretical broken foot or not Khabib beats McGregor 9/10 times. Just a bad matchup for him.

<Dylan> You expected him to announce a broken foot in a Presser?

I'm no huge Conor fan any longer as I once was, but:

I don't see a lot of attention being brought on the fact he's lying about his 'intense' weight cut as well.

His nutrition specialist said Conor weighed 171 lbs in the cage, which is around the same weight he was during the beginning of his training camp...
"In terms of cutting, it was an easy day."

Months after the fight, Conor claims the cut was so intense he couldn't sleep for days because of it...

it's like the brock lesnar disease excuse,if conor was fighting an easy matchcup for him,he could have won easily.

hahaha. good find.

Not sure why Conor chose now to brain dump this massive boat of excuses, but really he did make an awful lot of excuses. Quite the Diva. It wasn't like it was a one off comment or soundbite that is being misinterpreted either. It was a solid 30 minutes of excuses.

i think he saying that 7 months after the fact as a way to try and find a scapegoat for getting mauled. to save face with his fan boys.

Conor has made more excuses than every other fighter combined. Makes Big Rig look noble.

I don't think having a hurt foot would stop you from trash talking.

And very rarely does anyone show up at 100 percent so who cares. I don't know why it bothers people that Conors foot was hurt.

Everyone fights hurt and sore

But if you go into a fight injured, you're asking to get fucked up. I sincerely doubt many smart guys fight injured.

I don't really have McGregor pegged as smart lol. Plenty of guys fight injured though, but it usually only headlines when its used as an excuse.

Allegedly sage northcutt just fought injured, now he's getting his face reassembled lol

It'd probably depend on nature of the injury...if you can still play your game without it affecting said injury then it just comes down to how confident you were to keep the fight in that style. I could understand that as an intelligent decision based on a risk/reward type mentality.

But not a broken foot or something that crazy....that's just asking for trouble. You aren't even giving yourself a fair shot.

I didn't hear that about Sage but it wouldn't surprise me....even in those 30 or so seconds he looks like shit moving around, i don't know if that's physical or the movements of Alexandre because Alexadre hunted him down like a wild animal....that was the shit nightmares are made of, one of my worst fears in boxing is someone hunting my ass and shooting me down like that lol

I'm not usually one to accept excuses but something was seriously off with Conor once he started making his walk to the octagon.
Didnt the commentators or Florian or somebody comment about or allude to am issue that will effect the fight too.
