I just got done arguing with an arrogant fanboy on another thread

It's a shitty old topic, but I just want some clarification to what other intelligent Sherbro's think.

GSP was in a very loose half gaurd, his right leg needed to be in a better position to actually hold down the choke. Johny did a great job of scrambling with his legs to stop GSP from getting in an ideal position to secure the choke. In order get a guillotine from the top like that you would want to be in mount.

More important question....how did the judges score that fight for Georges, when literally almost EVERY mma media outlet scored the fight for Hendricks?

Nope
It’s a wrestling ‘thing’

Who knows, maybe Georges has the deadliest squeeze ever and didn't need to involve his hips in the choke.

@TheToqueville
Simply, GSP was such a round winning decision machine that I think judges at the end of the round just said "Fuck it I'll give it too GSP since I usually do"
the grappling was very even that round, but Johny outstruck by a considerable margin, but again, for a ring judge at cage side they may have not noticed it.

The same way three judges scored a unanimous decision for khabib over Tibau when every media score scored it for Tibau but one

Andy fans watching this thread...
He tapped in my opinion. Or as someone already said, a “Brazilian tap.” Either way he made a tapping motion with his hand.

I can respect your opinion. Funny thing I am not an andy fan I am just a Stockton and MFS (so lawler, hughes ect) that doesn't like GSP

GSP has to most title wins and he didn't beat any scrubs like Andy did so i would have to rate gsp higher.
I'd rate Bones Jones higher except he was popped by USADA, so sadly I will admit that GSP is the greatest UFC fighter of all time.

And I can respect yours. I feel as if he tapped or at least made a Brazilian Tap to get GSP to let go of the choke.
I just recently started back on these forums & it seems like the Andy fans are the ones who try to hate the most. Yeah I’m a big GSP fan. And at least we can agree on Lawler. I’m a big fan of Robbie also.
I’m in Calaveras county right up the hill from you. Went to school with Jake Shields. He was a bit younger than me. No hard feelings man.

You can’t tap to a choke that was fully let go a second earlier. Some of you people really need glasses.

Although I’m confident 99% of those who say he tapped are just insecure troll GSP fans who know he deserved to lose the decision.

The only tap I see is after the choke attempt was let go

Edit: the only thing that I could perceive as a tap. Didn’t even really look like one to me and I’m a GSP fan.

GSP landed a single strike more than Hendricks that round and his sub attempt scored well too. Close 50/50 round like that always should go to the champ.

I think he did but it doesn't matter anymore.
