The problem isn't the age difference that much, the problem is that you shouldn't rely that much on being someone to make you feel better all the time because you never know what could happen and if you end up on bad terms with her, you'll fall into a deeper depressive hole.

The only thing about the age difference is the maturity level you've reached at your age is totally different to hers despite you thinking she's matured. I've dated women younger than me that act mature, but at certain times they stumbled and acted their age. The problem is that at some point deep in the relationship if you guys get there you'll begin to notice the age lapse between you guys and it could breakdown and get you hurt. I'm just talking on personal experiences. I hope that doesn't happen to you though.

It's the truth man. I wasn't meaning to rip on the guy, he admitted what his situation is. Not that he should be embarrassed, but if this girl is as young and beautiful as he says, can you explain why she'd be interested in a serious relationship with him? Not just knocking boots a few times, I can see that if he's a good looking guy...he said he wants a serious relationship. I personally have a hard time picturing it is all I was getting at.
 
Just because a big wallet will get you most girls doesn`t mean that there aren`t (some) girls out there that are not just after money. They are rare, but they do exist.
