Yeah that was legit sad. Saw it on a local news story.

Sadly anything race related takes more precedence than a kid actually dying from a bully, even if it's completely fake or questionable. There's more hysteria for a kid standing while smirking than a kid that was killed by a bully. Just sad and pathetic.

Yeah, I guess that it is all about Racial Shock Value now-a-days. The media doesn't even give a shit if they get it right. Just race to report it as fast as you can while tripping over the facts.
 
I think this is a side effect of reporters trying to follow tending stories, rather than do actual investigative reporting. Not only are they trying to make up click bait headlines, they go out of their way to fabricate stories. I feel bad for this girl, this will effect her life negatively at school.

There is still a heavy dose of racism in this country, FFS just look at some of the post on this board. With that said, fabricating these sort of stories is stupid. I would say that it seem racial motivated crimes against other races seem to be rather low.

The more common likely answer is because the mother is a crackhead who got knocked up and can't take care of the kid.

Just for the record, it could be other reasons. but if you look at a pie chart of reasons, drug using mother is the bulk answer on that chart, even for whites. The opioid rural users are just as bad.
