3 Weeks of No UFC

What are you guys going to do between Mir/Hunt and Rothwell/JDS? That's more than 3 weeks. I'll get drunk and watch fightpass, I guess. What are you guys doing to get your MMA fix?

Yup last month we were spoiled with good MMA across the board; now there is a long break without UFC, a long break without Bellator, and 1 WSOF card with Branch vs Starks as the headliner.... March-April 14th sucks.. At least on April 15th i'll finally get to watch my guy Askren fight for the first time in over a year.

I try to do that, and they're good. But live events excite me more because I don't know the outcome. I sometimes go and watch the fight history of older fights I've heard a lot about but not watched much.

3 weeks isn't bad. Back in the day you had to wait months. In 2004 there were only 5 events for the entire year.

The break makes it nice to have something to look forward to. When I became a fan of MMA, we had a couple of UFCs per year. Pride was cool to look forward to also. The excitement gets a bit watered down when we get saturated with event after event. Having said that, I still watch em all.

There's usually about 4 or 5 good watchable events every weekend there isn't a UFC.
