Well in that case I'll add Avengers Infinity War and Lord of the Rings.


But if we're talking about war in the conventional sense, then off the top of my head,

I think Schindler’s List is phenomenal but didn’t vote for it in this category because I don’t really consider it a war film per se. If that makes sense.

same with Inglorious which is more explicitly a war film but I just think of it in its own Tarantinoish category.

Those are potentially my two favorite films on the list with Apocalypse Now though.

but I voted for Apocalypse Now, Blackhawk Down which I think is absolutely terrific and very intense, and Glory- a tremendous civil war film with epic performances from Denzel, Freeman, Andre, etc.

Full Metal Jacket deserves a spot too and could easily have garnered my vote had I not seen Glory and Blackhawk on the list first lol.
