Yup, vibes are a huge factor.

Vibes as they relate to the candidate AND vibes as they relate to the party/political side.

Republicans have done a brilliant job at painting their side as the normal, common sense, likable, humorous, nuclear family-based side. Meanwhile, the other side is filled with trannies, bitter cat ladies, angry minorities, militant vegans, and sensitive college students who can't even take a joke.

So the side you want to "be" with and identify with is who gets your vote.
