There’s also 13 other coaches out there posting up a 1st year losing campaigns. 14 if Alex Golesh loses with South Florida tonight. You gonna post up their tweets too? Or do you just hate Deion exclusively?

I think you’re missing the point here. None of those other 13 coaches were treated like Bear Bryant for a full month. None of those coaches received wall to wall media coverage. The point is a 4-8 team was treated like they were Bama or Georgia for the entirety of September

Doody! Oregon favored by 9 against UDub!
You gotta admit. Oregon is on another level right now. Gonna be an awesome game.

On a side note, spent the day learning about the smaller football schools in my state and was surprised to learn about the D3 “Little Ivy League”. 10 schools and they only play each other. No scholarships. No post season. Weird.

I remember back in the day when ESPN first offered expanded coverage of all divisions. It was pretty cool to watch some of the D3 games and just seen what they had to deal with when compared to the larger schools.

A spitting penalty? I bet they could call that quite often. Others just don't get caught.

What a fucking moronic take. He's a very famous guy taking his first major job with mostly transfer players and they started out 3-0. You think the media was supposed to ignore what was happening just because he didn't "earn" the attention according to dumbfucks like you?

I do get it. But at the time, they were unbeaten With a victory over the national runner up. So is it Prime’s fault he played into the overexposure the media afforded him? He did what he did to get Colorado as much exposure as he could. Plus it’s Prime, would you expect anything less?

Media can’t hype him up anymore for content. So they have now shifted into kicking them while they are down mode to generate stories knowing there is a ton of haters to click the link. The only winners here are the media.

So take away the fanfare. He’s the middle of the road first year coach.

I have nothing again Deon, just posting a tweet. They were really close to being bowl eligible this year. It looks like Colorado is moving in the right direction.

Fair enough.

I will say there are in fact two winners of Colorado’s losing season. Taylor Upshaw and Montana Lemonius-Craig. Both got out of dodge and wound up on an awesome Arizona squad. Especially Upshaw who was a grad student on his last year I believe.
