Why is tomorrow's Michigan - OSU game being billed as the 'biggest game' in the rivalry? The 2007 game was #1 vs #2 and a play-in game for the national championship game. Tomorrow's loser could still make the CFP.

On another note, @Sexy @Revolver, the next game in Ann Arbor will be the 10 yr anniversary of the 2015 meet up

Man imagine starting the year 8-0 to just drop 4 straight games to end it? Air Force gave a good effort, but they are missing Zac Larrier.

This is the always the risk for the service academies. Triple options take a massive toll on their QB’s. Add in the fact that the players for these schools are usually smaller than regular college QB’s, it’s not uncommon to have multiple QB’s start the season Due to an injury.

Air Force tried to close out the year with a win on their 4th string QB.

The pressure on both teams is through the roof. Michigan has to prove they can get over the hump without cheating and Day can't lose to Michigan (for the third year in a row) with an interim HC.

2006 was the biggest game in the rivalrys history. It's present bias to hype up whatevers happening right now because its happening right now.

This could be number 2 though especially for the modern period. And tbf if the CFP was around in 2006 the loser WOULD still make the CFP.

Good explanation. Probably hyped by the Gambling Industrial Complex.

21-0 over the last 2 years against teams not named Michigan and Ohio State. Also a New Year’s 6 bowl win. The results speak for themselves. Peen State and James Franklin are killing it

Prez is in town

Allen Park is where the Lions practice facility is located, about 30 miles from Ann Arbor. What a weird place to go to for the Michigan - Ohio State game

FWIW - there is now a Buddy's in Ann Arbor not far from Michigan stadium. Buddy's is the originator of the Detroit square pizza.

If you're in Ann Arbor and looking for Pizza, NYPD Pizza just next to the main campus is my favorite place. Cottage Inn Pizza is sort of the standard reference place in Ann Arbor. Anthony's gourmet Pizza is very good but most people think it's over priced.

So in other words, it's the match that both men need to win and neither man can afford to lose!
