usman had never been finished and edwards is not a finisher(hadn't finished anyone in 4 years)

Jiri and Poatan clearly had the power to end it and showcased it earlier

Umm... Jiri got a submission. He only had 3 submission wins before and 1 was due to strikes. Glover had never been tapped before either.

The odds on a 5th round Jiri sub was far more unlikely.
