Yah, and we are supposed to accept this is a permanent phenomenon now, which started in earnest in 2020 (looks like those tallies are frozen, see you tomorrow folks!), because of uh, population growth, and I don't know, climate change
2020 had the Covid excuse with the massive increase of mail in voting plus covid restrictions in general. PA stepped up it's game this year and was prepared which is why we didn't have similar issues. But I have no clue what AZ/NV is doing this year.

There’s almost no reason to tune into election coverage on the day of anymore. If the new normal is going to be that elections take days or even weeks after voting day for winners to be decided, usually in key states, it’s going to piss off a large portion of the population one one way or the other.

It always took days and weeks to count over a hundred million votes.

The races are just really close so every vote needs to be counted. Even in many places that have been called not all the votes have been counted, it was just so overwhelming one direction it's not worth waiting on the rest.

Also Arizona just sucks.

I'm sure you guys thought this was clever, but as usual there's a lot of context you're skipping here like...

The population was 10x smaller (including 4 million slaves) and of that population only 6% were eligible to vote anyway including the Confederates who didn't participate for some reason.

So basically the entire election during the Civil War was decided by a vote total smaller than just half a major city today.
on yea it’s not like we have advance technology or anything like that ……..

i can tell when @ShadowRun has made an attempt at a post just by the replies. he's hilariously stupid and hasn't had an original thought ever. copy paste, copy paste, eat some paste, copy paste...
Says the idiot that thought the secretary of AZ was a republican even though Hobbs is a democrat running for governor lol.

The oligarchy won.

The last time the GOP had full control of the federal gov't, their only major legislative accomplishment was a big tax cut for corporations and people who inherit millions of dollars (signed into law by a guy who inherited a nine-figure fortune). Their main focus now is cutting SS/Medicare/Medicaid. The idea that they're anti-oligarchy is about as wrong as it's possible to be.

Yet we still do manual counting and verification of ballots, especially in highly contested races, because it's more accurate.

Even when machine counted, the ballots are checked for errors before the machine counts them.

Is that why most of Biden's donations were big meaning rich people finded his campaign?

Relax guys it’s hard to count sequential numbers.

One. Two. Three. Four…
Apparently it’s pretty hard.

PAHRUMP, Nev. (AP) — Volunteers in a rural Nevada county where voting machine conspiracy theories led to an unprecedented hand-count of mail-in ballots came face-to-face with one messy reality of their plan Wednesday: It’s more time-consuming than anticipated.

After a full day in the Nye County office building in Pahrump, 60 miles (96 kilometers) west of Las Vegas, some 60 volunteers had counted about 900 of the 1,950 mail-in ballots that the county has received so far.
Two groups of five that The Associated Press observed Wednesday spent about three hours each counting 50 ballots. Mismatched tallies led to recounts, and occasionally more recounts. Several noted how arduous the process was, with one volunteer lamenting: “I can’t believe it’s two hours to get through 25” ballots.

It still blows my mind that conservatives got electoral power for slaves as if the slaves were voting.

I can't fathom the convolutions of thought that let that be possible, and yet the principle is still alive.

They also want to repeal Biden’s corporate tax of 15% which is less than everyone posting in this thread.

Trump got 75 million from Shelden Adelson and then gave Sheldon's wife the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
So if you want the same medal for your chick, then all you need is 75 million.
BTW Pfizer gave to both Biden and Donny.
Once you make the next step in realizing both sides are on the take, the better off you will be. Then when you see any candidate run on campaign finance reform, that will be the first candidate to actually give a shit about America.
