So United fans, would you do Lukaku for Dybala straight up? If United were even able to get 80 mil for Lukaku I doubt they'd put it towards a player as good as Dybala, especially with every other team making them pay the "United tax." He also fills a need as a #10 or second striker behind Rashford. I know he isn't a pure RW but I'd rather start him over Lingard or Mata. I think it is a solid deal if it is legit. Lukaku has peaked and Dybala might have a level to go up to in the right system.

I'd trade Suarez and Griezmann for Dybala at this point for the record. I know i get the pink eye moniker for my cheeky hot takes, but I think in the right system he flourishes. Deadly, that lad.
But I get what you mean about needing more. A CDM to free up Pogba would be amazing.

An Argentine international, pushed out of his club to make way for another player, and finding himself at Old Trafford,....such a fresh idea, I'd give it a shot

I imagine Ronaldo would put a stop to this transfer if true which I highly doubt. We just have to hope Inter can scrape enough cash otherwise we're stuck with a donkey with no pre-season training.

I think Dybala has world class talent in him. He destroyed us in the CL a couple years ago, just hasn't put it all together which hasn't been entirely his fault. I think Allegri fell out of love with him and also the arrival of Ronaldo hurt him alot. He's only 25.

I could see him being a bust like Depay/ADM but I could also see him be better than Alexis at Arsenal. Low floor/high ceiling.

Thing is I don't know another forward United could get at the moment that is available and could be got for the equivalent of Lukaku's "value." I don't trust Woodward to use those funds wisely anyways.

Obviously United need more and if Pogba can fetch a good sum(if the 150mil is believable) then you can use that to get Bruno, hopefully, and another piece or two.

It's a start and a move in the right direction imo.
