I get it, he's nice and all that and smoother than the other communists but be careful, those lefties are all the same - elitist at heart.
Just look at the Fawlty Lounge: they essentially wanted their own Mayberry Lounge but without the tedious, moronic presence of Mayberrians...which i can't fault them but it just goes to show their profound disdain for 'the common man', they claim to love so much.
I always think of you as the real man of the people around here, consistently kind, not just to me but to everyone. I don't want to see your good nature taken advantage of by snobs and comma connoisseurs, is all.
To be honest, I'm a little disappointed you would choose the smooth-talking communist over Cubo de Sangre who is actually a real mensch and has excellent taste in music, besides.

I don't agree with Jack on a bunch of issues, but respect his knowledge in a bunch of areas that are outside my wheelhouse-- such as tax policy. He believes in a strong social safety net, and that is cool with me.

BUT, if you want to start attacking people by association, maybe we should check some of the voters Cubo is courting...

I'm pretty sure @Edison Carasio @M3t4tr0n and @ultramanhyata know where they stand... and my guess is they are a little more comfortable being associated with views like @Jack V Savage than views' like those held by @ShadowRun @TheHigherPower and @Farmer Br0wn …

Are those the guys with the credibility to "fight the right wing establishment," as you put it?

I'm not saying "judgment by association" is the game to play, but IF that's the way you want to go, maybe guys like @44nutman and yourself and @HockeyBjj want to take a look around, lol.

Except your theory does relate well to what is actually happening.

Virtually all of the lucky and Cubo voters from the last round have voted exactly the same. Last time lucky voters came early and Cubo came later. Nothing has changed, the only difference is seeing where the voters from other candidates are going.

Cubo is getting most of the freed up right, especially the rustle faction, while lucky is getting the left.

The thread, which most posters are not going to wade through is having little impact either way. If it was you have seen some change in where these votes were going.
