My fellow war room citizens: I have waged this internal debate for months. Last year, on a whim, I decided to run for the presidency of this fine sub forum. I ran what I thought was a clean campaign, running on the merit of my ideals and morals. I turned down offers of help at character assassination, look at what my friends did to homer in the OT, imagine if I had unleashed that pack of savages in here, the war room would be a smoldering ruin.

Despite my efforts I was brought low through the basest of tactics; misinformation, rumours, lies, my character was questioned, as were my past associations. State run media launched constant fake news attacks on me. Even still, I was barely beaten. I carry no shame in that loss, for I went out honourably, I did not change my posting style, I did not lie, I did not whore myself for votes. The war room has endured dark times since that election, but there is a light upon that horizon, the time has come for the war room citizenry to once again choose...
