are people actually thinking Draymond is a future HOFer?

b/c I constantly today see 'it takes 4 future HOFers and the refs to beat lebron'......

who's the 4th? 'don't pass me the ball please' draymond green?

uh no

I think the charge call was correct, Lebron was shuffling his feet, you need to be planted. I dont know much about the replay rule though. Maybe just call it even and throw it in? It was a pretty important call but cant say it would definitively won the cavs the game.

That was the best b-ball game since the 1-3 cavs coming back to win the series and I dont care for lebron. Last night earned alot of respect tho, I dont think he flopped once. He played lights out ball.

You only have to be planted in college.

I don't think so. He's just a super role player.

Saying 4 all stars is the right take though.

not surprised you're trying to somehow blame lebron for this. lmao

The only blame that could go LeBron's way is if he signed off on the roster changes over the last two years. That supporting cast is God awful.

Well we know he didn't fire Griffin or trade Kylie. That's all on Gilbert.

I could have sworn thats specifically the rule and why people get called with it. Why dont you be helpful and give the correct rule if you are so certain?
you only have to beat him to the spot which he did.

What is the exact rule then? He cant just get in KD's way to the basket and stop like that, it gets called all the time.
An on-ball, block/charge situation occurs when contact is made between a defensive player and an offensive player who is moving in a particular direction or trying to change directions. A defender is permitted to establish his legal guarding position in the path of a dribbler, thus “beating him to the spot.”

With this definition, it sounds like the right call still was made still but it was pretty close. Lebron was still moving sideways when he got in KD's way, At least thats what I saw. Just an opinion tho, I am by no means a B-ball expert.

Kind of funny in retrospect. Feels like the Celtics/Cavs are better off without both those players.

Yeah i looked it up. I disagree that he beat him to the spot tho and I think the refs saw that as well. Tough call tho and they probably should have left it with the one on the floor.

Block/Charge:
A block/charge foul occurs when a defender tries to get in front of his man to stop him from going in that direction. If he does not get into a legal defensive position and contact occurs, it is a blocking foul. If he gets to a legal position and the offensive player runs into him it is an offensive foul. In both situations, if the contact is marginal, no foul may be called. To get into a legal position defending against the dribble, the defender needs to get his torso directly in the path and beat him to the spot. On a drive to the basket, the defender must get to his position before the shooter starts his upward shooting motion. For off ball players, the defender must get into position and allow enough opportunity for the offensive player to stop and/or change direction. All ties are considered blocks as the defender did not beat him to the spot but arrived at the same time.

The HOF is reserved for greatness not really goodness.

Realizing that Bern got caught on the opposite end of his patented Roid Rush fill my heart with joy

I think the refs saw that foot pivoting after the contact and called it as though lebron was still moving in the direction. Tough call. I am biased as well.

I think those rules are a little grey though and that rule probably needs to be more established, the way its worded leaves a lot up to interpretation from a refs standpoint.

if you play in today's era, and don't score 20k pts.....it's a very very slim chance one will make the HOF, unless you're A) Dennis Rodman (greatest defender and rebounder ever) or B) foreigner who also played well in Olympics/FIBA as it's not just the NBA HOF

whereas if you score 20k pts, and you're not Tom Chambers or Antawn Jamison you're virtually guaranteed a spot

The thing is though that it should have never went to review. He was clearly outside of the restricted area. Also, judgement calls should never be reviewable. Imagine if holding was reviewable in the nfl.

I agree it probably shouldnt have been reviewed, maybe not even called. Let them play ball.

Also why was Tristan thrown out of the game? That was a joke and such a soft call. Now him and Love may be suspended. Series is basically over.
