People complaining on him getting the title shot I understand, but it's GSP.

Exceptions get made for the elite and they don't get much more elite than the GOAT.

Its cool but this fight does nothing for me. For one I feel like GSP is going to be much smaller than Bisping although MMA fighters have a way of completely changing their body composition. Its the least compelling match up I can think of.

All are better fights to me. On the bright side though, itl be fun to see GSP fight again.

• Bisping already had his "for the fans" fight with Hendo, he has yet to defend it against a true contender.

All true, but he who has the gold makes the rules and nowhere is this more true than the fight business.

GSP would never fight Rockhold, Weidman, Jacare or Yoel, if they were champions. Thats all I need to know to understand his mindset. No where close to Fedor or Anderson.
