The UFC is officially a circus engineered for casuals.

GSP Bisping is just a slap in the face to the fighters and the actual fans. I know that it's the casuals and not the die hards who power the promotion but it's not a good idea to spurn your base.
I am a fan and i love this fight. I like GSP and Bisping more than i like Yoel and Jacare. I am not a casual,i just dont think because something might be unfair, that i have to pretend to hate this fight.

2017 and Bisping is defending against GSP, no way any of us would've guessed this shit happening years ago.

What's next, Joe Stevenson winning the ultimate fighter again and becoming champ???

I bet GSP fights Anderson afterwards regardless of the outcome.

I think so. Esp if he loses. But if he wins,he could conceivably challenge Conor or Woodley

So, you are so arrogant that you think you have the right to dictate what everybody else can, or can't do ?

You need to fuck right off, asshole.

I'll fuck you until you love me,:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Whoa, riveting stuff. I bet if you ate shit at a five star restaurant you would tell yourself it tasted good.
I like sweet science and technical wizardry. Neither guy is a just bleed brawler and im OK with that.

When WME purchased the UFC, I was excited that they'd be able to better promote the fighters on their roster. Sadly, this does not appear to be the case and they'd rather just coast on the names of fading established names for the sake of short term profit. I wouldn't be surprised if they followed your prediction and booked those matchups but I anticipate that they'll be sorely disappointed by the returns on either "superfight." GSP and Diaz already fought a lackluster fight and we're now going on 6 years since Nick Diaz recorded a win. At this stage, Nate's probably the bigger commodity anyways. As for an Anderson/GSP fight, the luster wore off the wagon long ago. Anderson aged and became mortal in the process and GSP was out of the public eye for a long time.

Now if the UFC/WME wanted to go full retard in the name of the almighty dollar, they ought to just book McGregor/GSP in a non title superfight at 170. If McGregor wins he becomes the undisputed biggest star in MMA history and if GSP wins, McGregor and the UFC can always claim that he was fighting a guy 3 weight classes above him as he's a former 145 titlist fighting the MW champ. That's the mega money fight.

1. It takes time to build up new stars that can sell PPV's, they are damn near forced to pay up for "fading established names". Jones is a loose cannon and is only gurantee really good numbers against Cormier, McGregor is on vaccation/boxing hunt, and Rousey might never come back.

2. I would not be suprised if they do GSP vs McGregor, could sell very good

I'm a huge GSP fan but what the actual fuck! Even if he gets by a much bigger opponent in Bisping, is he really ready to defend against guys like Romero, Weidman, Mousasi, Jacare, Rockhold etc. I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone.

Maybe he'll just go the McGregor route and collect titles that he never plans on defending.

I would pick Gastelum over GSP @ 185 at this point.
