Have to comment on this with my 2 cents, its utter bullshit. I can't believe this has been made a fight when Romero and Jacare are basically next in line. UFC are going to shoot themselves in the foot if they carry on giving title fights to someone less deserving who hasn't even been active for over 2 years!

I know they have to make money but I feel fighters will move over to other organisations for better fairer opportunities. I love the UFC and the fighters that are in it but has become a complete farce as of late.

Ones again Bisping ducks the competition! Who knows how Bisping will fare against GSP, GSP hasn't fought for ages and mma and fighters has evolved alot from when he last fought. GSP will have a possible advantage coming of from not being tested for a long time... so i guess it could be a competetive fight.

But fucking disapointing. GSP was great but when looking at the division i feel there are alot of fighters who deserv it more. I feel GSP should have had to take a contender fight first.

I guess GSP by dec. is probably what's gonna happend but i wouldn't be surprised if Bisping gets a TKO. Alot has happend in the last 3 years mma has evolved.

Those are different situations. Neither Anderson, Hendo or GSP are shot like Big Nog, Penn and even Cro Cop were. Hendo was the most shot one, but still, based in his fighing style, he was still dangerous. It's definitely not the same situation as the Big Nog that lost to Nelson, who by that time was a living corpse, the BJ that lost to Yair and Cro Cop fighting in a cage in the US, he never did shit in the UFC.

Plus, Bisping took the belt from Rockhold, who was in his prime, knocking him the fuck out in the first. You can't just ignore that. And another thing that matters is that he would have done that in a roll. Anderson, Rockhold, Hendo and GSP will be, name wise, the best win sequence ever. And you just can't argue with that.

Anderson has been out of prime since he lost the title. He's pretty fucking shot. Sure Hendo's power always makes him dangerous, but he was far past prime. 3-7 in his last ten fights.


Fans don't just magically forget context and circumstances. Even a check on wiki and controversial decisions are mentioned, wins over guys past prime are mentioned. Like I said the Rockhold win was legit. But gsp and Andy are way past prime, and everyone knows it. Beating them and Hendo now is NOT the same as beating them in their prime, and everyone knows it.

MMA hasn't evolved in 3 years. GSP might have declined, we won't know until we see him fight. But no one is better than GSP was at his best.

Well I don't think he can either. Was just pointing out Bisping HAS been ragdolled before. I think Bisping is the favorite in this fight.

Sonnen did a good job of controlling Bisping, but GSP is a manlette compared to those guys. yeah, but it's GSp, I'm hoping the odds keep going against Bisping. I got a few bucks I can spare if it gets big enough.

Who knows how honest he was, but sonnen said GSP outgrappled him.

This is not Conor moving up to LW. This is a legit move to fight bigger guys at the top of the division.

Before the acl surgery I'd give gsp more of a chance He looked slow his last few defenses.

they're just going for the easy money as usual. this is just a bad idea, what if GSP wins? I doubt many people would give him good odds against any of the rest of the top 5 at MW, maybe even top 10. the size is going to be a huge issue.

He doesnt have to keep the belt if he wins it. All the plebs dont care if someone new takes the title after its been takin from Mike,who is nearing retirement anyway. i

St Pierre is my favorite. But this could be a bad match-up for him if he cant get it to the ground. Bisping is legit!!! Just hope its worth watching since Romero and Jacare are getting shit on.

WW is more stacked,but yeah it hasnt gone through some revolution or nothing. I dont think GSP would still be the champ if hed hung around this whole time though. The break might have been good for him.

I've wanted to see this fight for a long time back when Anderson was champ I said that George's should fight bisping at MW as a tune up fight at that weight, maybe that's what he's planning and bisping just happens to be champ because Andy show boated.

I guarantee George's still thinks Anderson is a harder fight than the red coat
