I am a fan of GSP- but he refused to fight Anderson for years. Now after a 3.5 year layoff he goes up to fight Bisping, and screwing Romero/Jacare in the process. So short-sighted by the UFC. A joke. Bisping beats him and then retires.

I don't blame Bisping at all.

Either fight a killer like Yoel for significantly less money where you most likely get knocked out.

Or fight a much smaller opponent for a lot more money and most likely win by decision or at worst lose a close decision.

Clearly the UFC gave him it because GSP wanted it.... So they go to him and say hey... you can fight GSP or Romero.... If you were him would you turn down a huge pay day versus a smaller guy? If you say no then your a poor business man or just lying to yourself.

That's not the point.
Im not really blaming Bisping or GSP as much as Im blaming the UFC. They deserve the lion share of the blame. But Bisping deserves shit too. He was already criticized for his first title defense, and then ducking Yoel, and now he's going to take on the former WW champ that hasn't fought in 3,5 years and was getting beat up by Hendricks?
If i was at Bisping's stage of my career id also care about my legacy. i wouldn't want to be known as a champion that blatantly ducked the challengers. And i say that as someone that has fought, (boxing) not a keyboard warrior.
