How anyone is picking GSP in this fight is mind boggling. Georges is going to get lit up standing, won't be able to take Bisping down and is going to get finished inside four. Nobody wanted this fight. I cannot wait to dump a shit ton of money on Bisping.

The power ranking system is fucked because the UFC has a problem with many fighters unable to really capture enough attention to warrant the ranking based matchups. These fighters who are stuck in limbo need to get the fuck off twitter and have a press conference or get on ESPN for a live interview and voice their displeasure.

The UFC has a problem with terrible promotion and unclear paths to the title. They do nothing to set up big fights. They just wait for big stars like Conor and Ronda to magically appear.
Making this fight is at the expense of the other guys in 185 that are waiting.
This fight will probably happen in what...July or August? WTF are the other guys supposed to do till then? And if they do take fights and lose, then there goes their shot. It's bullshit.

Don't get me wrong, I'll be watching because it's a fight. But it is bullshit

Easy money fight to make for everybody involved. Its a business. I'll be attending. Two of the best cardio machine in the business makes this a fight I want to see.

As i've already outlined, if the aim was to make money, there were other compelling matches that could have been made that would have likely generated just as much revenue without screwing over the entire MW divison.

I'm from England, i'm a huge Bisping fan and do not blame Mike (nor GSP) for taking this lucrative fight. My issue is with the UFC for putting this fight together in the first place. Makes no sense divisionally or from a rankings POV.

Seriously guys... people bashing Bisping for this? Close to 40 years old... not many fights left, chance to have a huge pay day. Everyone one of us would have done the same thing in his shoes.

Bisping already got his freebie fight with Old man Hendo in his hometown. He doesn't rate another fight like this when there are clear contenders

This doesn't look good for GSP. He never had to move up to fight anderson but the fact that's he's now willing to do so with bisping as champ speaks volumes.

it's not surprising and it's a smart business move on GSP: Anderson was on a terror run; Bisping is an underdog that can upset you (nothing to lose sleep over).

Less risk, same or similar reward.
