Are you talking about the PM I was invited to or was there another one just for the right wingers?
There's was a series of them that were just for right wing posters. Originally it was pretty benign, just a place for like minded people to talk. But over time it got worse. Too much bulls hit for me. I prefer my callouts out in the open. So I bailed. That was a week or so before the purge.

The person was a coward because he chose to do the right thing even though it went against his tribe?

Well, there are random trolls that are probably as dumb as those guys, but they're not as disruptive. But, sure, I'd swap lecter for TCK.
The person is a coward for doing back door dealings rather than being honest with himself and those around him.

I left the pms before the purge. Was never part of any plots. I'm not a fan of subterfuge.

<TheWire1>

Hmmm, but you were included in the group aimed to terrorize the forum and give people seizures?

So, the terrorists felt you were one of their own, but you bailed out on the attack because you're a moderate, and not a fundamentalist?

Hmmm, is there such a thing as a moderate?

The person is a coward for doing back door dealings rather than being honest with himself a d those around him.

We don't know if he spoke out against the schemers (who by your own definition were also cowards--does that change your view of them?).

Interesting. I think he's one of the worst. The thing is that he has no principles at all. Like Coulter said about Hannity, he'd support communism if Trump was for it. None of the points he makes, then, really even reflect his beliefs.
I'll say he's gotten a lot worse after the election so I'll give you that. I think he got radicalized by Sherdog.

Lecter didn't even get purged IIRC, he simply left of his own accord after the purge. I was thinking of WiolentOne. Sure he was a huge dick, to me in particular, but at least he was better than Space and Palis and RIPWarrior. WO at least had something to say often enough even if he was a dick while doing so but those three seem to me to be empty posters. Plus he wasn't one of the hivemind, I saw him ruthlessly go after right wingers just as he would left wingers when they had legitimate disagreements instead of papering over those disagreements to stick it to the left.

He was the snitch, it's obvious.

Both candidates are snitches, should have voted for me when you had the chance guys.

Hmm, this is turning into a real election where even when you think you have good candidates you realize they are BOTH unfit to lead!

See, this is the problem. The moderates like @irish_thug don't denounce or help us against the extremists. They're silent despite knowing their machinations. They silently support them despite not participating. When will the moderates denounce the extremists in their ranks? Until then I can't vote for @irish_thug in good conscience.

Still awaiting actual evidence that one of those people was involved. And I've already commented on that type of tactic being wrong.

I did some soul searching (and name changing) and even though i had previously said i supported irish thug i cannot in good conscience vote for him..In reality Irish is a great guy but i cannot support some of the conservative views he shares

I have voted for Homer Thompson

i came to the decision based upon the last 3 rounds of polling and my overall opinion of what the war room really needs..

Paris was a cancer and irish is NOT paris but we need a bigger changeup and thats why i am voting for

HOMER FOR WR PREZ!!!!

I'll say he's gotten a lot worse after the election so I'll give you that. I think he got radicalized by Sherdog.

It was before the election. He went from pretending to be completely neutral (Shrimp's line was "both sides are the same so vote Republican") to thinking that liberals are all evil monsters and anything to win is fair game. Also used to pretend to be religious. Could be that he was radicalized by Sherdog. He used to go at it with LogicalInsanity before he turned full troll (he was always dumb, though).

My experience with WO was that he did make almost exclusively empty posts. I agree that Space and RW are on the same level, though. Been ignoring Palis for a while so I can't comment.

That person was a coward.

But things were out of control, hence why I left.

Oh my, are you suggesting the person who outed the terrorist plot to give seizures to epileptic posters and moderators was a coward?

Looks like you're with the terrorists.

Those were the golden days of the internet. You could just download all kinds of stuff straight from within AOL because it wasn't illegal.
I mean the speed was shit and all but still. Or punting people imagine you would be able to do that today.
It was also more friendly in the early days unless you went looking for trouble much less aggressive than today.
Today the people would punt each other all the time because they don't like each others opinion. Back in the day, it was just a joke kind of thing.
Remember when the worst thing that could happen to on the internet was getting rickrolled ...

If he had spoken out he would have been removed from the group, and wouldn't have had any information to exchange for cheese.

Well done.

I'm having trouble seeing how you'd criticize him, then, except on the grounds that group loyalty is more important than morality.

I've seen people be very nasty to him, myself included at times. Yes as I said he was stubborn and sometimes a jackass but I think he got a lot more than he deserved. People get irritated by stubborn posters and seem prone to overreacting and I think that's what happened to TCK. After being on the receiving end of that I think he came to the conclusion that nothing could bridge the divide.
My experience with WO was that he did make almost exclusively empty posts. I agree that Space and RW are on the same level, though. Been ignoring Palis for a while so I can't comment.
I had personal beef with him but I always had him above the likes of those other guys.

@Gandhi

This could be GNN breaking news... Irish Thug is asking for a Presidential pardon for his role in the PM seizure terrorist attack.

Does the disgraced President Palis have the ability to pardon someone before he leaves office?
No.
