It seemed pretty obvious that they wanted more flaming and bigotry, and to control the narrative of the discussion.

I'm believing what you and others are telling me. Some of the lesser, more-obnoxious posters got together to have a safe space group (again, that's not really bad) but then also tried to attack the WR because it wasn't a safe space for that (and that is bad).

There is some truth to that. But there was disagreement. Right wing isn't a be all end all package deal. Some of us support certain aspects but not others.

And if you'd asked a few years ago I would have included nicky. Not because I agreed with him, but because he made this place entertaining. I don't want to exist in an echo chamber. Chaos makes things interesting from time to time.

You joined a group that was created, specifically, to be an echo chamber. You have no credibility on this matter.
 
Question to the candidates.... if you could live in a different country, which would you choose, and why?

I'm defending the concept, not the execution. I left because if became clear that I was no longer in ideological alignment with some of the members. I'm not one for support threads and emailing crave because I don't like the mods on a karate forum.

I actually tried to tell them to be the change they want to see. I guess that didn't work out so well for me.

Seems to me that AC is one of the least-trollish posters on the whole board. The only conceivable objection to him is that he's too smart.

That some of them felt you were impossible to have a reasonable conversation with when opinions differed. But for me it's all part and parcel of life in the war room.
