Some of the most low energy shit talk I've ever seen, zzzzzz election.

With that said congrats Hummer, you are the President this progressive board needs!

@irish_thug it's amazing how many votes you got despite being overwhelmingly outnumbered with limpwrists galore roaming and shit posting this board as of late. I think it's a testament to how good of a poster you are that so many liked you despite the huge disadvantage.

First and foremost, I would like to officially congratulate President elect @HomerThompson for his well earned prize, after a hard fought campaign. I hope he presides over a time of peace and prosperity within the War Room.

Secondly I would like to thank my entire team,

@pcptornado for being the best running mate a guy could ask for.

@Anung Un Rama for being a true friend and offering his support and hard work during the campaign.

@Peloquin for adding some much needed energy during the primaries.

@Contra-dictator for trying to give us that final push right at the end (unsolicited and without promise of favour I might add).

And of course @Clippy for holding it all together.

Each and everyone of you who voted for me also has my gratitude, registered voters and dreamers alike (except @Pickle Rick, fuck you).


I would also like to give my gratitude to @Lead for facilitating this entire venture, and to @Limbo Pete , @Ruprecht @Madmick and @computer fogie for moderating this fine sub forum that we all enjoy so much.

Lastly I would like to thank all of my opponents in this wonderful election. This process brought out the best in everyone involved, and has been the most fun I can recall having had in the war room in recent history.

Well this is about as grounded in reality as a typical trump speech. Fact is Irish had the numbers and a hug advantage, we just turned out the vote.

During the race the only way to predict a victory for us was by showing participation rates that were multiples better than Irish’s.

And this is not a dis to Irish, hats of on a good contest. I don’t know what he and his team did or did not do, if it was organization or apathy, but I do know the playing field was against us and we overcame it.

What I won't be doing today is thinking about " black people " what I will be doing is going for a 5k walk along the seawall with my Chinese Canadian wife and my half breed son , we'll play Pokemon' (thats japanes )with my boy and then go for Ramen downtown (thats Japanese although I believe to proprietor is Chinese) then we are going Coco( the new pixar film celebrating Mexican culture) then a long walk along the sea wall back to the car and I think my lovely wife wants Indian for dinner .

Yes sir. 7 year old daughter, 4 year old son. The daughter has been bugging to go see Coco, that's why I ask. Normally I love kids movies, but I like to make sure if I can.
