2017 Green Bay Packers thread. Do we have a defense? Hell no

One thing I noticed was first quarter Rajaas is next to Hundley giving him pointers... as the game went on he was no where near him and hanging out with Marty or his receivers almost full time.

That says something to me.
 
I bet if Deion and Woodson came out of retirement they'd be better than our starting CBs tomorrow. Deion can't tackle but God knows he could probably still cause problems for people.

What I don't understand is why did they draft Hundley? It's clear as day that he was never a pocket passer and more of a running QB, even in college.

He wasn't even THAT GOOD in college. Hell, in the Pac-12 there are better options... Goff was one, Browning in a couple years if he can hit the weight room, Falk if his concussions haven't caught up to him already just have to get him to read defenses and he's put up video game like 600 yard 6 TD games with regularity.


ONLY saving grace is the couple times I saw Biegel on the field he was involved in the play. Once for a TFL and once for that forced fumble... course, Abudllah's hands are worse than fucking Dez's in some ways so there is that.

Distinctly remember that play.

Defender slipped at the line and Jordy was off. Naturally Hundley had his head so far up his ass that he could chew on his gum from the other end.

Sounds like Bulaga's injury might be serious.

Bulaga is always plagued by something, but that still sucks.

Hopefully Bahk stays upright though.
 
Is it time to move on from Bulaga? Feels like it's too early but the guy just can't seem to stay healthy for a whole season.
 
Bulaga's a good player. Even if they could use him as a swing tackle he'd still be valuable.
 
I know Matthews' best days are behind him but you have to think with how we've seen Martinez play at points this year, with how Perry played end of LAST year, and how strong Daniels can be we should get something of a pass rush....

Randall and Rollins suck but they don't get any help when they have to cover dudes for 6-7 seconds at a time with a QB that could cook some lasagna and eat it before he throws.

It's probably because I went to this school for a year but I hope the Packers take a flyer on this guy if they can:

I don't think it matters who plays quarterback for the Packers. Until they get a defense that can stop somebody they don't have a chance to win anything. Detroit didn't punt even one time last night. The only way a drive stopped without a score was on a fumble. When the Packers did manage to score, the defense almost immediately allowed the Lions to score. The defense did stop the Lions on their first drive until Mike Daniels decided to head but a lions player. They have no pass rush and nobody in the secondary can cover anyone.
 
Time to scrap the 3-4 scheme

As the game goes on how much can you blame the defense when they spent like near 40 minutes or something on the field? Gotta have offensive drives that last to allow them a chance to rest.

Also, obviously none of our CBs can cover if Stafford has time to make a goddamn lasagna and eat it before he throws.
 
Douche canoe Colin Cowherd is calling out Green Bay today. Calling the organization terrible and saying Raajaas should explore his options and leave or demand change and demand talent around him.
