yes, by far our best player ever. Since we sucked balls before Steve Fisher got there, the only really relative guy we had before were Tony Gwynn (drafted by the Clippers) but more for baseball clearly, and then Michael CageHe played college ball at SDSU though right?
Was Mr Basketball in Cali his senior year,. Led us to the Sweet 16 sophomore year, and was straight up the man just got overshadowed by Fredette at BYU at the same time. He was Conf Freshman of the Year, two time All Conf, one time AA, two time all Conf Tournament, led the Conf both years in rebounds as a SF (including 9th in the entire NCAA his second year), led the Conf in DRTG and DWS (2nd in the NCAA), 2nd in PER Points WS WS/48, 4th in steals, 5th in EFG, 3rd in OWS, etc...
The crazy part is he couldn't shoot like at all back then. 25% from 3 and 74.4% from the line in college
in the pros those numbers are 38.6 and 84.7
