yes, by far our best player ever. Since we sucked balls before Steve Fisher got there, the only really relative guy we had before were Tony Gwynn (drafted by the Clippers) but more for baseball clearly, and then Michael Cage

Was Mr Basketball in Cali his senior year,. Led us to the Sweet 16 sophomore year, and was straight up the man just got overshadowed by Fredette at BYU at the same time. He was Conf Freshman of the Year, two time All Conf, one time AA, two time all Conf Tournament, led the Conf both years in rebounds as a SF (including 9th in the entire NCAA his second year), led the Conf in DRTG and DWS (2nd in the NCAA), 2nd in PER Points WS WS/48, 4th in steals, 5th in EFG, 3rd in OWS, etc...
The crazy part is he couldn't shoot like at all back then. 25% from 3 and 74.4% from the line in college

in the pros those numbers are 38.6 and 84.7

i personally don't see their D improving, certainly not with IT on the court now

they can switch on most things and have general size (not down low size) w/ Green/TT/Bern/Crowder and maybe Wade or JR, but then they need Love and IT for offense. And they have zero answer for any player w/ size downlow. Who's gonna hold JVal? or Horford? Giannis? if the pacers improve Myles Turner? Not too mention you can simply run the PnR at IT any time he's on the court and they by default have zero answer. It's been shown this year you can also simply attack Lebron on D, to make him tired and less effective and more TO prone on offense, age is catching up

I'm not seeing it, i wouldn't even bet they get to the Finals

I agree it's really a wide open conference imo.

Also.lebron is having to play like a beast every night for cavs to win. Eventually all these min are gonn a catch up to him one year
