Lol @ all of you circle jerking about any minor thing that has to do with Trump. "Omergawd hes wearing a bobby pin and mentioned tacos!"

Meanwhile you have nothing to say about Hillary Costallano over here lol.
Ya because you guys never comment on hillary s appearance, if she left a curler in her hair you wouldn't have anything to say right ?

And for the most part the media yawns. While thousands of emails show literally nothing remotely as bad with Clinton, and the mainstream media ends up screeching about nothing.
To most reasonable people, being on the Clinton side of "pay to play" is much worse than being on the Trump side. It's not that the media isn't trying to attack Trump at every juncture; it's that most of the stuff doesn't stick because it's frivolous.

I once had an acquaintance in China who sold sweet popcorn in an alleyway of Xi'an, a major city. In order to set up his food cart, he had to pay bribes to local cops called "ChengGuan" (城管). Otherwise they would boot him out because there was no effective oversight of the ChengGuan. These guys would double or triple their monthly income via collection of bribes.

I would never blame my friend for paying this bribe. I blame the corrupt government officials who take the money.

In the Rajiv Fernando case, you have very clear evidence of Hillary Clinton personally engaging in "pay to pay" on the wrong side. Fernando had no qualifications to become ISAB head, but he did give the Clintons and affiliated politicians and political organizations millions of dollars. Thanks to FOIA e-mail requests, we know that Clinton herself (via Cheryl Mills) named Fernando to the position. Everyone else on the board was a nuclear or arms control expert. Fernando was a commodities trader.

Boy I'd hate to be a Hillary fan right now (does she have any?) Trump has just had his best week in ages after going to Mexico and making everyone think past the sale, outlining his immigration policy, climbing in the polls, and hitting it out of the park in Detroit.

Meanwhile Hillary showed up looking tired and haggard, only to recede back into the shadows.

Washington (CNN) A top Donald Trump surrogate admitted to falsifying some of his professional accomplishments after a contentious confrontation with CNN anchor Victor Blackwell.

South Carolina preacher Mark Burns, who regularly introduces Trump at his campaign events, had listed on his church's website that he had a Bachelor of Science degree and served six years in the Army.

Burns, however, was never in the Army Reserve. He was in the South Carolina National Guard, from which he was discharged in 2008, CNN found.
As far as a Bachelor's degree, North Greenville University told CNN he only attended the school for one semester. Burns admitted that he did not finish his degree when CNN asked him about it.

A televangelist lying? Who could think of such a thing?

Meanwhile on the other side the candidate herself is lying everytime she makes a statement. But lets focus on a Trump surrogate. That makes sense.

"there has never been a man or a woman, not me, not Bill, nobody more qualified than Hillary Clinton to serve as president of the United States of America"

Lol

Since Trump has stopped self-destructing, Clinton may need to adapt an active posture in regards to the media. It's still a pretty solid lead, but trying to run out the clock seems like it's not really working well for her anymore.

Trump has caught up in some national polls like Reuters, Rasmussen, IBD/TIPP.

He is up by 1 in 2 of them and is tied in the other.

The latest Ipsos poll has him ahead by 3 in Ohio and he is now ahead in Iowa but he is still trailing by a small amount in NC and FL (he needs these 2 states) The Electoral count still favors Hillary

Donald Trump paid the IRS a $2,500 penalty this year, an official at Trump's company said, after it was revealed that Trump's charitable foundation had violated tax laws by giving a political contribution to a campaign group connected to Florida's attorney general.

The improper donation, a $25,000 gift from the Donald J. Trump Foundation, was made in 2013. At the time, Attorney General Pam Bondi was considering whether to investigate fraud allegations against Trump University. She decided not to pursue the case.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news.../?postshare=9471472847883822&tid=ss_tw-bottom

The foundation told the IRS that it had given $25,000 to a third group, a charity in Kansas with a similar name, "Justice for All." In fact, the Trump Foundation had not actually sent the Kansas group any money.

This new, incorrect listing had the effect of camouflaging the prohibited gift. Trump's CFO said that the listing of the Kansas group was another mistake, made by the foundation's accountants.

All true, but I'm more interested in aggregated results than single polls when it comes to judging where a race stands. It combats the house effect of individual pollsters, and reduce the noise by quite a lot. Fivethirtyeight has Hillary at about +4, while RCP has her at +3.5ish in four-way polls. That's quite a plummet from her lead two weeks ago, but still significant. Not anywhere near safe, though. I'm inclined to think her inactivity and avoidance have hurt her now that Trump isn't putting out controversial soundbytes quite as regularly.

I am looking at recent polls. A lot has changed over the last few days. When new versions of the polls that ended on the 28th or 29th (before the trip to Meixco and immigration speech) come out we will see if they changed like the others

That's a bit to hyperactive for me, since it makes it impossible to distinguish outliers from the new average. It's not in any way uninteresting, though. As you say, we'll see with more certainty after a little while.

Sigh .... if the roles were reversed you would gleefully comment on it ...... as you should

This election is absolutely horrible. Staggering, really.

Everyone accusing Hillary of pay to play... how do you feel about Trump and the Florida attorney General?

This election is absolutely horrible. Staggering, really.

It's kind of incredible at how disliked both candidates are, yet a third party option still doesn't stand a chance. It really makes you wonder about the whole process, and how two candidates that are considered terrible options are still the only options.

hillary is such a terrible nominee. youd think she would be the one on tv talking about trumps donation and fine. literally just cruising to election day.

The more I think about it, the more I want to blame the public then the system. We had a primary for a damn reason and it was covered extensively by the media for a year and a half. People who are now complaining in the GE about their options probably make up a decent majority of people who didn't vote in their primary. They had 20 candidates originally to choose from and tuned out until now and they wonder why the options are so shitty. The system isn't that flawed. It's people's lack of participation when it's clearly give to them. I mean, there was a point in time where we didn't even get voting primaries
